How Kwamanman Community Bank came to be — and where we've grown since.
A Trusted Community Partner
Kwamanman Community Bank was established to bring modern, reliable banking to the people of Kwaman and the wider Ashanti Region, at a time when the nearest bank branch was many kilometres away. Since opening our doors in 1982, that founding conviction has never changed: access to fair, honest banking shouldn't depend on how far you can travel.

Founding of KCB
Kwamanman Community Bank was incorporated in Ghana to carry on the business of banking under the Banking Act, 1970 (Act 339), on the 27th of August 1982 — the 5th rural bank in the Ashanti Region and the 38th in the whole country.
First Branch Expansion
We opened our second branch, taking banking services beyond the head office for the first time and bringing the bank closer to more of the community.
Regional Growth
The branch network continued to grow across the Ashanti Region, extending access to fair, honest banking to more families, farmers, traders and small businesses.
Construction of Ultra-Modern HQ
We completed construction of a new, ultra-modern head office, giving customers a purpose-built space to bank in and giving staff room to serve them better.
